The Bella Vista Townhouse Association must approve any exterior repairs, replacements, or additions, prior to any work beginning.
Interior Projects - All work including but not limited to painting, plumbing, appliances, etc. shall be the responsibility of the owner. There is no permit required by BVTA. Plumbing and electrical work may require a permit from the ACC and/or the City.
Exterior Projects
- All building or site modifications including but not limited to carports, walkways, deck extensions, enclosures, additions, awnings, painting, roofing, windows, and doors are the responsibility of the owner and require permit applications and approval from BVTA, ACC, and/or the City.
If the project is changing from the original design, you must obtain approval from BVTA Management, as well as the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. All submissions must be received 10 days prior to the meeting in order for pre-inspections to be done. Prior to submitting any permit applications, please ensure you have all required information such as drawings, neighbor approvals (if applicable), sample colors, pictures, etc. to ensure you have everything necessary to submit your request. The BVTA $50.00 permit application fee is not required on carports, decks, and/or painting projects that require less than 25% in repairs. You are still required to fill out a permit approval application before any repairs can start.
