Permit Approval Order
  1.  Bella Vista Townhouse Association - ($50.00 Permit Application Fee Required)
  2.  Bella Vista Architectural Control Committee - (Permit Fee Required - Contact the ACC for assistance)
  3.  City of Bella Vista - (Permit Fee Required - Contact the City for assistance)

ACC Requirements

  • The ACC requires preliminary and final approval for all solar collection systems.
  • Flat Collectors: Solar collectors must be flat to the roof.
  • Mechanical Portion: The mechanical portion of the system must be inside the structure.
  • Skylight Review: All glass, plastic, or other transparent skylight or solar devices must be reviewed and approved by the ACC.
  • Clear, bronze, or gray glazing is required for skylights.

The Bella Vista Architectural Control Committee has the final approval of any color, construction, material, etc.

City of Bella Vista Requirements

  • You must schedule an inspection for each phase of your project.
  • You can schedule an inspection by calling (479) 268-4980, emailing permits@bellavistaar.gov, or using the home portal. You have 180 days to start work after the permit is issued.
